Asahi Takahashi
asahi’s Story
Asahi was six when she started touring around Japan with the Tokyo Opera Company and it was then that she made the decision to make a career out of music. Ever since she has been writing and performing in every opportunity given, from the streets of Japan to Performing on Television with various projects.
In 2007 she moved to Sydney to pursue her dream even further, she attended and graduated the Australia Institute of Music with a bachelor of Music. She studied under Australia’s best jazz musicians/educators such as Kerrie Bidell, Sean Coffin and Jeremy Sawkins. Now she works as a professional singer based in Sydney and has been playing at many leading venues such as the Basement, ANZ stadium, Lazybones and many more.
